Markly Morrison

Markly Morrison is a musician, DJ, and audio journalist who moved to Olympia in 2006 to join his friends in the band LAKE, with whom he was a multi-instrumentalist and songwriter for ten years. Evergreen State College graduate, Markly founded Low Profile, a project that includes a podcast, a radio show on KAOS 89.3, and a public access television show on Thurston Community Media. Low Profile collects first-hand oral histories from indie musicians. Markly also organizes the Scherler Sundays summer matinee concert series, has worked as a weekend announcer at KXXO, and hosts the weekly Questionable Music Trivia evenings at 3 Magnets Brewery. He has recorded solo material under the name Skrill Meadow since 1998. He interviewed John Foster, Cindy Wonderful and Pat Maley for this project.
