Alison Baker grew up in Lacey, WA. She discovered Olympia's vibrant music scene as a teenager in the late 1990s, and before long she joined the ranks performing her own songs as a solo artist at the age of 18. Later, Ali formed the band Vertebrae by Vertebrae, which evolved into Full Moon Radio. Ali lent her guitar and vocal skills to many regional artists, including The Mona Reels, Skrill Meadow, Grayskul, and Onry Ozzborn. Her candid, long-form interviews for The Olympia Music History Project with Mirah, The Need and Tobi Vail were the first she had ever conducted. She is raising her son, Leo, in Tacoma where she works as a union organizer for SEIU. Today, Allison still practices music in Olympia with her band Deep Lacey.
