Cindy Wonderful

Cindy Wonderful is a musician, video artist and event promoter who grew up in Denver, CO. She first visited Olympia when her band Rainbow Sugar played at the inaugural Ladyfest in 2000. Cindy relocated to Olympia in 2002 just in time to volunteer at Homo A Gogo, where she also gave a solo performance. During her time in Olympia, she and Sarah Adorable started an electro/punk/rap duo called Scream Club and a record label called Crunks Not Dead. Cindy also migrated her Denver-based public access TV show Wonderground to Olympia’s TCTV (Thurston Community Television, now known as TCMedia). Scream Club relocated to Berlin from 2008-2012. Since then, Cindy has been living in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, where she operates Chez Fab, a nonprofit community outreach organization that is deeply connected to Baton Rouge’s arts scene.
